If you have documents stored on your computer, you can import them into Google Drive. To import a document into Google Drive, follow these steps:

Step 1: Go to “My Drive.”
Step 2: Click on the “+ New” button in the top left corner.

Step 4: Click on the “Open” button.

Your document will now be uploaded to Google Drive.

Exporting Documents from Google Drive

If you need to share a document with someone who doesn’t have a Google Drive account, you have two options:

  • Provide a direct, public link to the file (see How to get a direct link to Google drive)
  • Export the document from Google Drive…

To export a document from Google Drive, follow these steps:

  1. Open the document you want to export in Google Drive.

  2. Click on the “File” menu in the top left corner.

  3. Hover over the “Download” option.

Your document will now be downloaded to your computer in the selected file format.

You could also go to Google Takeout to export your files in bulk.
